  1. Your works take me back to my youthful days back in Korea. These images feel like they are telling me memories I half forgotten; dreams, hopes, heartaches and frustrations I have gone through. I enjoyed very much of finding your art through Judy Neunuebel, another real artist from Santa Barbara. Thank you for sharing your art.

    • Misuk,

Thank you for commenting on my paintings. I like your descriptions: “memories . . half forgotten; dreams, hopes, heartaches and frustrations.” I will think more about these words.

  2. Finally getting around to checking out your website, John, because I found your letter and beautifully painted card in my stack of things to get to. You know, the stack that sits there and gets ignored, usually forever, or until it’s thrown out because it becomes an eyesore and reminder that you have unfinished business. Anyway, love seeing your work and remembering the good times I have shared with you and Marilyn. For the visually oriented, your art invites thoughts and feelings that words can’t. Especially love Snowblind and Downcast After Miro, although I’m not sure I get the downcast part. I find it joyful and full of energy. I imagine the downcast has more to do with your response than mine. Also love your intricate, lovely greeting cards. Thanks for sharing John, and best to you and Marilyn. -mike

  3. Greetings, Kenyan,

I’m sorry but I can’t locate your comment. Thanks for paying attention to my work. I’m happy to respond to whatever it is you have to say, I just don’t know how to find it.
